Programme

The Biofyzikální sdružení conference will be held this year in České Budějovice (8. - 9. 9. 2026), with participation from both domestic and international experts, including colleagues from Austria. The meeting will focus on discussions of the most advanced biophysical methods and their applications in the study of non-canonical DNA structures and epigenetic processes. The conference will provide a platform for sharing current results, fostering international collaboration, and exchanging experience among research teams from different institutions.

The aim is to associate members of the wider scientific community working mainly in the scientific field of biophysics in order to create a base with legal personality enabling the effective performance of various joint activities supporting the development of biophysics in the Czech Republic. The Association fulfils this purpose with appropriate activities, such as the organization of professional or social events focusing on the field of biophysics.
